Community Guidelines for Smoke

Smoke is designed to help people connect through respectful, real-world interactions. These Community Guidelines are intended to help maintain a safe, authentic, and positive experience for everyone using the App.

By using Smoke, you agree to follow these Guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policies.

1. Be Respectful
Treat other users with respect at all times, both on and off the App.

Do not:
harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse others
engage in hateful or discriminatory behavior
intentionally embarrass or humiliate other users
repeatedly contact or pursue someone who is not interested
behave aggressively or inappropriately during meetups

Healthy interactions require mutual respect, honesty, and good judgment.

2. Meet Safely
Smoke is intended to facilitate real-world meetups between users.

We strongly encourage users to:
meet in public places
inform a friend or family member of meetup plans
use caution when meeting someone for the first time
trust their instincts and leave situations that feel unsafe

Smoke does not supervise offline interactions and cannot guarantee user conduct or intentions.

3. Be Authentic
Use your real identity and represent yourself honestly.

Do not:
impersonate another person
create fake accounts
misrepresent your age, identity, appearance, or intentions
use misleading or deceptive photos

Authentic interactions lead to better experiences for everyone.

4. No Nudity or Sexually Explicit Content
Do not upload, share, or display:
nudity
pornography
sexually explicit material
obscene or graphic content

Smoke is intended for respectful social interaction and real-world connection.

5. No Illegal, Dangerous, or Harmful Behavior
You may not use Smoke to:
engage in illegal activity
promote violence or threats
scam or defraud others
exploit or manipulate users
distribute harmful or malicious content

Users must comply with all applicable laws.

6. Respect Boundaries and Consent
Every user has different comfort levels, expectations, and intentions.

Always:
respect personal boundaries
communicate honestly
accept rejection respectfully
prioritize mutual consent in all interactions

No one is ever obligated to continue a conversation, meetup, or relationship.

7. Reviews and Feedback
Smoke may allow users to provide anonymized reviews, ratings, or categorized feedback about interactions.

Reviews should:
reflect genuine experiences
be fair and honest
avoid harassment or retaliation

Do not:
submit false or malicious feedback
attempt to manipulate ratings or reputation systems
misuse the reporting or review features

Smoke may remove or moderate reviews at its discretion.

8. Protect Privacy
Respect the privacy of others.

Do not:
share another person’s personal information without permission
post private conversations or screenshots to harass others
misuse photos, videos, or profile information
attempt to track or monitor other users outside intended App functionality

9. Reporting and Enforcement
If you experience or observe behavior that violates these Guidelines, you may report it through available App features or support channels.

Smoke may:
review reports
remove content
restrict accounts
suspend or terminate users
take other actions at its discretion

We reserve the right to enforce these Guidelines in a manner we believe is appropriate to protect users and the platform.

10. No Guarantee of Safety
While we encourage respectful behavior and provide reporting tools, Smoke cannot guarantee:
the identity of users
the accuracy of profiles or reviews
the safety or conduct of any individual

Users are responsible for exercising caution and judgment in all interactions.

11. Updates to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time.

Continued use of Smoke after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
